Seven chefs from Egypt, Gulf countries, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka made it through to finals week of Knorr Master of Seasoning 2017 in Dubai. The chefs – Chef Ahmed Fatheen, Chef Mohamed Mokhtar, Chef Yassine Nokila, Chef Chamara Arachchigodage, Chef Zaryan Turab, Chef Nahar Al Soub and Chef Kashif  Javed– reached the finals after their chicken recipes received the most votes in an online poll as part of the competition.

We caught up with the chefs the night before the final showdown to find out what the competition meant to them:

Knorr Master of Seasoning 2017 drew to a close with a week-long culinary experience for the finalists. They took part in masterclasses covering techniques such as sous vide and smoking, and got to interact with experienced chefs from the UAE, before facing off on the final day in a thrilling finale.
