Method:

  • Cabbage (red, white), Shredded 1.2 kg
  • Red onion, thinly sliced 250 g
  • Spring onion, trimmed and thinly sliced 60 g
  • Grated fresh ginger (from about a 1-inch piece) 30 g
  • Soy Sauce 64 ml
  • White vinegar 30 ml
  • Lemon juice 64 ml
  • Sesame Oil 30 ml
  • Vegetable oil 64 ml
  • Sesame seeds, optional 30 g
  • Dark brown sugar 30 g
  • Salt 5 g
  • Black pepper 2 g
  1. Method:

    • Combine the shredded cabbage, onion, spring onion and ginger in a large bowl.
    • In a separate bowl whisk together the Best Foods Classic Mayo, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, seeds, and then add to the cabbage mixture.
    • Mix well to combine and taste for seasoning; add more salt, pepper, or sugar if desired.
